Consultation paper on the government's plans for implementing part 1 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007
The Ministry of Justice has issued a consultation paper called Transforming tribunals: implementing part 1 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007. This consultation sets out the government's plans for implementing part 1 of the Act. It brings the tribunal reform story up to date, explains how the tribunals system will be organised and supported and asks for views on the way ahead. Chapter 11 deals with reform of the General Commissioners and the other tax appeals tribunals. The consultation closed on 22 February 2008. The analysis of submissions will be published 19 May 2008.
