General Commissioners of Income Tax

The General Commissioners of Income Tax (GCIT) is a tribunal which hears appeals against decisions made by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) on a variety of different tax related matters.

This site is intended to provide a general guide to the General Commissioners of Income Tax for appellants. It explains how the appeal process to the General Commissioners works, but is not intended to replace your own legal advice.
